The invoke comes from internalizing the words from three sources which are the Fortess, Foundation, and forefather of each's faith: 

    

    Adonai is described as a Fortess in Jeremiah 16:19.   In that same Book of Jeremiah the Words of Adonai Himself, admonishes, "let them boast that they know Me..." (Jeremiah 9:23)

    

    The words in the letter of Matthew quote that Yehshuah refers to Himself as "the Rock Foundation".  But it is the Savior's word's in that same book (Matthew 11:29), "take my yoke upon you and 'KNOW' (learn) from Me,"

 

    The emissary Paul, the forefather of the redeem's new creature expression and walk, we all regard his exhortation and edification are held in most highest esteem. Emissary Paul in the latter few years of his calling and service,  made what could be the most profound statement, recorded by any born-again believer.  He stated, that, "the greatest quest in his life was to arrive at the place of higher knowing of Him."  The totality of his life long natural and spiritual achievements he would anxiously discard, that he might arrive at knowing Him. (Phil. 3:10)
